COMPANY BACKGROUND

FEI Enterprises, Inc. was established in 1988 under the name Fire Electric. It was incorporated in 1991. Its major business then was the installation, design, monitoring and maintenance of Electrical Systems and Fire Alarm Engineered Systems for the private sector. Its projects ranged from single residential homes to commercial buildings.

In 1993, the company ventured into public works projects, primarily as a contractor which provided a complete bid package for all electrical and low voltage system requirements. In 1997, the company changed its name to FEI Enterprises, Inc. and started to bid projects to private owners and government agencies as a general contractor.

As a prime contractor, FEI handles all full electrical and low voltage packages and subcontracts other trade work to reliable and reputable contractors. Since then, the company has completed hundreds of projects. Among these are various safety technology projects for Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and modernizations projects for a number of school districts in Southern California (i.e. Palos Verdes Peninsula USD, Redondo Beach USD, Downey USD, Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, UC Irvine, to name a few), jails, and high rises. It has also completed a number of private work projects such as the installation of the electrical system for 1400 units at Villa Sienna Apartments in Irvine and various new construction projects for high rises in Los Angeles.

FEI Enterprises Inc. is one of the leading companies in the industry. It is backed up by efficient and reliable field employees and office personnel who are fully trained and well versed on all phases of the construction project. FEI's manpower complement ranges from 40 to 60 employees and varies depending on the workload. Moreover, FEI Enterprises Inc. is completely computerized. FEI's CADD capabilities enable the company to provide a unique set of design services to end users and engineers. It likewise boasts of having a fully integrated computerized system which integrates all project information with its accounting. Thus, management is provided with an efficient and effective tool in determining the performance of the project and the company as a whole at any given point in time.
