The process of integration starts at the design phase when specifications and general layout are defined. It continues through material selection and procurement, and ends at the physical integration at the job site. In fact, the term end may be misleading. The integration process goes beyond the completion of the project, and continues throughout maintenance, training, troubleshooting, and similar post-installation activities.
